Roman baths were a central part of Roman social life, as well as a way for the citizens of Rome to stay healthy. Roman baths were located in almost all Roman cities. They were more important then just a plcae to bath. It was a place to socialize and workout. Some Roman baths are still there today. They were very big and had many rooms around them for various reasons. They used there bathing time as time to show off and joke around and unwind after a day of labor. Everyone no matter there social status used the public baths. They were seperated between genders for obvious reason. They were used at the height of roman civilization more. The baths were amazing beacause of the engineering used for them. Using water from a hotspring getting it through a sewer system was never seen.
